Duotone Pro Center Tenerife is looking for a Kitesurf instructor for the summer season (seasonal contract).

You will deliver a fun, engaging, safe and informative kitesurfing program for guests of all ages while always providing fantastic service. Whether it’s greeting guests as they arrive for their first-ever session or helping someone celebrate their skills, you will go out of your way to make sure that these moments are memorable! We are looking for friendly, energetic and approachable individuals who can build rapport with ease and continue to give our guests confidence in the fact that every element of their holiday is being delivered by people that care.

Oh, and of course, you can play as much as you like with all our wind and water sport toys at our amazing spots.

About DPC Tenerife
DPC Tenerife opened in 2018 as the world's first Duotone Pro Center. We offer a variety of watersports to our guests including both rental and lessons in surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing foiling, downwind foiling, pump foiling and e-foiling. The center is open all year round thanks to the mild and windy climate in Tenerife. Due to the great watersports conditions and flight connection (4 hours from Europe's mainland), guests from all over Europe are visiting the center. Our team includes friendly and energetic 15 staff members who take care of our lessons and rental service.

About El Médano
El Médano is a small town located on the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands of Spain. It is situated in the southern part of the island which is known for its excellent windsurfing, wing foiling, and kitesurfing conditions. Duotone Pro Center Zanzibar is looking for a Kite & Wing Foil instructor (seasonal contract: July - October & December - March).

Your tasks will include

• Day-to-day center activities such as equipment distribution, organization, maintenance, clean-up, course scheduling, and invoicing
• Teaching according to the IKO standards, incl. post-course student certification
• Daily planning of kite or wing foil courses
• Checking of wind forecast and tides
• Teaching Kite/Wing theory while there is no wind
• Delivering the best service and highest quality instructions
• Brand ambassador of Duotone Pro Center Zanzibar, with good knowledge of Duotone, ION & Fanatic equipment
• Management support of Duotone Pro Center social media channels
• Being positive, building the brand and the team
• Seasonal position (July - October & December - March)

About Kiwengwa
Duotone Pro Center Zanzibar is located on the east coast of Zanzibar in a small fisherman town “Kiwengwa”. The beach of Kiwengwa is the longest white sand beach on the island. During low tide, a sandbank is formed, creating pool-like conditions. During the full moon, the light of the moon reflecting on the white sand makes it possible to kite until late at night. The reef and pass right in front of the spot offer perfect wave conditions for professional riders. Kiwengwa has also recently emerged with a trendy nightlife. Every Wednesday and Saturday, there is a party at the Pontile. The music starts around 10 pm and continues until late in the evening. The local Masai are expected guests and amazing dancers who can continue dancing the whole night without a minute of rest. They also regularly perform choreographies and will be happy if you join them.

Im Duotone Pro Center Sylt bieten wir Kitesurfen, Wing Foilen, Surfen und Windsurfen an. Wir suchen einen Lehrer für Kite- und Wing Foilen, der mindestens eine der Sportarten beherrscht und in der Lage ist, seine Fähigkeiten sowie seine Leidenschaft für den Sport an unsere Schüler weiterzugeben. Eine Lizenz zur Schulung und berufliche Erfahrung sind natürlich von Vorteil. Ein Surflehrer bei uns kann auf eine unserer Sportarten, wie z.B. Kitesurfen, spezialisiert sein und eine leitende Rolle in dieser Disziplin übernehmen. Wir benötigen jedoch auch flexible Allrounder in unserem Team, die bereit sind, neben ihrer Haupttätigkeit auch Unterricht in anderen Sportarten wie Wellenreiten oder Wing Foilen zu geben. Wir bieten auch Neulingen die Möglichkeit, in den Beruf eines Surflehrers einzusteigen, vorausgesetzt, sie beherrschen Kiten, Wing Foilen, etc. schon sehr gut und sind bereit, ihre Begeisterung für den Sport mit all ihrer Leidenschaft an unsere Anfänger weiterzugeben.

Über das DPC Sylt 

Wir sind ein junges, motiviertes Team. Unser Duotone Pro Center befindet sich direkt am Brandenburger Strand in Westerland. Für das Kitesurfen nutzen wir Spots mit Stehrevier, Sansibar 2 und das Mövennest. Wing Foilen und Windsurfen unterrichten wir in Rantum. Die Wellenreitkurse finden direkt vor unserer Haustür statt. Unsere Saison beginnt im April und endet Ende Oktober. Wir würden uns freuen, dich für die gesamte Saison in unserem Team begrüßen zu können. Es ist jedoch auch möglich, teilweise in der Saison bei uns mitzuwirken, falls du nicht den gesamten Zeitraum zur Verfügung stehst.

At the Duotone Pro Center Sylt we offer lessons in kitesurfing, wing foiling, surfing and windsurfing. 
We are looking for a surf instructor who is proficient in at least one of these sports and can pass on his or her skills and passion for the sport to our students. Preferably with a teaching license and professional experience. A Surf Instructor can specialize in one of the sports we offer, e.g. kitesurfing, and be the main instructor for that sport. But we also need all-rounders on our team, who can be used outside their main role to teach other sports such as surfing or wing foiling. 
We also offer newcomers the opportunity to become a surf instructor. If you already have a good command of kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing, etc. and are now ready to share your passion for the sport with our beginners, we would love to hear from you.
 

About DPC Sylt

We are a young and motivated team. Our Duotone Pro Center is centrally located at the Brandenburger Strand in Westerland. For kitesurfing lessons we go to the spots with standing area, Sansibar 2 and Mövennest. We teach wing foiling and windsurfing in Rantum.
The windsurfing courses take place right in front of our door.
Our season starts in April and lasts until the end of October. We would love to have you on our team for the whole season, but it is also possible if you only have time for part of the season.
